Which is what this is all about.
Great Scott! Gonzo Moose Theatre Company’s latest idiotic adventure is touring this Spring. I’m delighted to be back working with them again. Dates and venues are on their website. Unless they forget to pack me in the van, that’s where you’ll find me.
I can be found compering, telling stories, putting out chairs and selling tickets (sometimes in that order) at monthly storytelling night, STORY JAM.
Check the link for the next season of zingy, raucous storytelling from the best tellers in the delightful surroundings of Canvas and Cream, Forest Hill. Woo-hoo! More at www.storyjamjar.com
Other events coming up in 2016 and 2017…
Story Jam is branching out into running Toe Dipper workshops for anyone itching to tell stories themselves, on top of running a season of Stories Road stories. There’s more about all of that over at storyjamjar.com. If you live on Stories Road, we’ll let you into Story Jam for FREE.
We’re also setting up a project touring stories for young people. The Galloping Horse Tour is in the process of raising funding for this PSHE-centred programme.
I have a couple of other top secret storytelling projects in the pipeline for 2017 and onwards involving, separately, Wild Men and Kew.
I have spent the last few months filming in India, so at some point Baar Baar Dekho will appear at a cinema near you, and you can see me much, much larger than life.
I am on tour in Great Scott! with Gonzo Moose Theatre until June 5th. You can find out if we’re coming to a theatre near you by checking out the Gonzo Moose website
I don’t always update this site with all my storytelling gigs but a couple upcoming shows are:
Grandmother’s Footsteps – stories about badly behaved old people at the Cockpit Theatre on Sunday 12th June as part of Beyond Bloodlines Festival.
Vasalisa and Baba Yaga every day at the Arts In Action Festival, Oxford from 9th – 12th July.
